Feed Channels

IRP Marketing Cloud

Feed channels allow you to specify where the feed is going to. For example Google, Clix Galore, AWIN, Ciao and Kelkoo are all feed channels.

The FeedChannels.aspx page appears as follows:

In the grid you can see the unique ID of the feed channel, its Active / Inactive status, its Name and the date on which it was created by an Admin User.

If you make a feed channel Inactive (see How To Add or Edit a Feed Channel later in this topic), a Feed Specification can still be configured, however the Feed Specification will NOT be visible on the Feeds page.

How To Add or Edit a Feed Channel

To add or edit a feed channel, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Feed Management > Feed Channels in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
  2. To add a new feed channel, click the Add New Feed Channel button at the top of the page.
    To edit an existing feed channel, click the Edit button at the right side of the row in the grid belonging to the channel that you want to edit.
  3. Check the Active box to make the channel available to the Feed Manager. (Note that if you make a feed channel Inactive, a Feed Specification can still be configured, however the Feed Specification will NOT be visible on the Feeds page.)
  4. Enter the Name of the Feed Channel (for example, Bing, Facebook, Google, AWIN, etc.).
  5. Click the Insert Feed Channel button or the Update Feed Channel button to save the details.

You will see the new or updated Feed Channel in the main grid on the FeedChannels.aspx page.
