You can find this section under Stock Control > Stock Log in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
You use this section to view all recorded stock activity on models or stock items. You can see what was changed, by whom and in what way. You can also view the sales history of an item and all the configured settings for any item.
If you click directly on the 'Stock Log' subheading within the Stock Control section, you can use the multi-option selector on the ProductStockAnalysis.aspx page to locate any item in the system:
You can use the following search filters:
- Model ID
- Model External
- Stock ID
- Part Code
- External Stock ID
- EAN 13 Part Code
- UPCA Part Code
Click the Search button to see the search results displayed across three tabs: Summary, Sales History and Stock Log.
Note: If you visit the ProductStockAnalysis.aspx page by clicking the 'Rank' icon on the ModelsEdit.aspx page, or by clicking the 'analysis' icon on the StockTransfersCreate.aspx page , all of the tabs described below will be populated automatically with the model/stock details and you will not have to use the selector described above. (A lightbox version of the page is also available via the StockPurchaseOrdersCreate.aspx page.)
Summary tab
The Summary tab appears as follows:
This tab presents information under the following sections:
- Model Summary: This displays the key stock control details for the product,
- Size / Colour Option Summary: This displays a summary of the stock items that have been configured for the product. Click the View button to view an analysis of an individual item.
- Update Product Details: You can update the following details for the product:
- Default Location Stock Level: Update the stock level at your registered location for this size / colour option. Any updates will be logged in the stock log.
- Default Location Price: Update the price at your registered stock location for this size / colour option. Prices should be entered inclusive of tax in your IRP's Default Currency.
- Picking Location: Update the picking location for this size / colour option.
- Minimum Stock Level: Update the minimum stock level against this size / colour option at your registered stock location.
- Reorder Quantity: Update the reorder quantity for this size / colour option at your registered stock location.
- Supplier: Update the stock supplier for this size / colour option.
- Cost Price: Update the supplier cost for this size / colour option. Supplier costs should be entered exclusive of tax and in your IRP's Default Currency.
- Model Target Days to Sell Stock: Update the Target Days to Sell Stock against this size / colour option's model.
- Brand Allows Automatic Level Recalculation: Define whether or not this size / colour option's brand allow for automatic level recalculation.
- Brand Allows Automatic Reordering: Define whether or not this size / colour option's brand allows for automatic reordering.
- Supplier Allows Automatic Level Recalculation: Set whether or not this size / colour option's stock supplier allows for automatic level recalculation.
- General Leeway Time for Placing Purchase Orders: Update the site-wide leeway time (in days) for placing purchase orders.
- Click the Update Product Details button to save your updates.
Sales History tab
The Sales History tab appears as follows:
You use this tab to display sales details for the model using the various filters shown at the top of the page (Size / Colour Options, Order Statuses, Order Types and Date Range).
The key sales data is displayed as a summary at the top of the page and details of each order are shown in the grid in the lower part of the page.
You can export the details by clicking the graph icon at the top of the section.
Stock Log tab
The Stock Log tab appears as follows:
You use this tab to display details of Local Stock and Web Stock operations using the various filters shown at the top of the page (Size / Colour Options, Date Range and Stock Locations (Local Stock only)). You can view all recorded stock activity on models or stock items. You can see what was changed, by whom and in what way.
This main grid displays the following details:
- Model ID or Stock ID: This shows the unique IRP ID for the stock item or model.
- Option: This shows the option on the model.
- Stock Location: (Local Stock only) This shows the location where the stock item is located.
- Action: This shows what operation the Admin User carried out on the item.
- Notes: This shows notes on the operation that the Admin User carried out on the item.
- Stock Level / In Stock: This shows the level in stock of the item.
- Min Stock Level: This shows any minimum stock level configured for the item.
- Reorder Quantity: This shows any reorder quantity configured for the item.
- Admin User: This shows the name of the Admin User who carried out the operation.
- Timestamp: This shows the date and time when the operation occurred.
You can export the details by clicking the graph icon at the top of the section.
Editing model details
After you have viewed the stock log for a model, if you want to edit the details of the model, simply click the Edit Model button at the top of the page.
