More than 300 delegates attended The Big Data Conference in Belfast last week, at which a wide range of data specialists attended, including HP, Skyscanner, Royal Mail and JustGiving.
The speakers highlighted how data analytics is the key area for growth. Principal messages from the event included:
- The need to use different data tools for different sources of data;
- The importance of not just storing data but using data effectively to identify and target key customers;
- How businesses can use this data for generating revenue.
