Flows

You can find this section under Email Marketing > Flows in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.

You use this page to set up and manage your remarketing flows.

Overview

Flows can be single or multiple emails used for remarketing purposes such as Order Placed, Dropped Basket and Re-engagement flow. Flows are created by selecting mailing list customers, schedules, delays and assigning content for each email in the flow.

Flows

The Flows page appears as follows:

Flows list

Use the search feature where you can find any flow by name, active status or event type.

Flow Details

You can see the following details in the main grid:

  • ID: The unique identifier for this remarketing campaign, added automatically by the IRP.
  • Flow: The name of the flow used within IRP Admin.
  • Recipients: The type of recipients this flow campaign will be sent to, for example 'everyone'. You can click on the figure to open the appropriate editing page.
  • Status: This indicates the status of the flow (e.g. Active or Inactive).
  • Triggers: This indicates the status of the flow (e.g. Active or Inactive).
  • Emails: Here you can view the following details:
    • Subject: The subject line of the email.
    • Sent: The number of emails that have been sent.
    • Opened: The number of times that the email has been opened.
    • Clicks: The number of times that the email has been clicked on.
    • Sales: The total value of sales generated by the email.
    • Unsubscribes: The number of times that the email has been unsubscribed from.
  • Orders: The number of orders generated by this flow campaign.
  • AOV: The average order value generated by this flow campaign.
  • Sales: The total value of sales generated by this flow campaign.
  • In Flow: This is the number of sends that have been scheduled as part of the flow. For example, when a customer drops a basket, they will go into the workflow with a send scheduled for whatever the configured delay is before the first email send; if in between time, a Stop action is triggered, the customer will be removed from the workflow.
  • Manage: Click this button to make changes to the flow details, test sending the emails, check the status, view stats and audit history.
  • Manage Rollover: Rollover this button to view actions for Edit, Copy, Archive and Deactivate

  • Number of Recipients: The recipient count from the selected recipient list

Step 2: Enter Time Delay

A time delay is required for some types of flows where more than one email is sent during the flow. The delay determines the time between each email send and is useful on flows like 'Dropped Basket'.

  • Select a Template: Select a template, modify content or create new email content to apply to the email

Step 4: Select a Template and Apply Email Content

Select, modify or create the content to apply to the email. Use the available templates as a base for your content. Alternatively create your own content and save as a new template for reuse in other emails.

Manage Flows

Step 5: Preview Email

View the flow visually in both desktop and mobile formats to make sure the email content works as intended.

Step 6: Test the flow

Test send the email(s) by sending to an individual email address or a list of addresses. This is a good way to make sure that the email works and displays correctly in email clients. The email will be sent depending on the schedule set.

Step 7: Email Flow Status

The email(s) will be sent depending on the schedule set. Review the details of the flow and 'Pause Campaign' if required.
