Continuing to invest in customer success
To date, IRP Commerce has invested £21 million of a planned £50 million in the IRP Commerce Cloud product.
£3 million of this investment has been in secure cloud infrastructure, working alongside partners Microsoft and ActionPoint to keep the IRP Commerce Cloud safe and stable.
The company is now committed to a further investment of £300,000 in a new Content Delivery Network (CDN). A CDN is a network of global servers that work together to provide faster delivery of your website’s image content to anywhere in the world.
A faster site is proven to increase conversion rates and sales.
Having a faster website will be a major factor in improving your:
- Conversion rates
- Search engine ranking
- Overall user experience
William Bailie, IRP CTO, commented, “This CDN is a great boost for our customers. Our customers sell internationally, and the investment in a CDN will have a major impact on website speeds worldwide.”
There’s more profit-boosting enhancements on the way
IRP Commerce continues to invest across all the IRP Commerce Cloud products and modules.
A large part of future product RnD investment will focus on intelligence and UX.
IRP Commerce believe that Intelligence Returns Profit. In basic terms, power in data comes from one central ecommerce repository – which has led to investment in the IRP Commerce Cloud platform as that single data source.
Dan Loughlin, IRP CEO, said, “In 2021 the Insights Terminal will transform how we think about ecommerce.”
Look out for the new CDN
The investment to get a CDN working seamlessly with the IRP Commerce Cloud is now complete. Ongoing investment will be made by IRP Commerce for all customer usage. The CDN roll out will commence in October 2020 at no additional cost to IRP customers.
