You can find this section under Application Settings in the IRP Admin left navigation menu.
Increase your average order value opportunity with the ‘Spend X more for Free Shipping’ widget that may push shoppers to add additional items to the basket. It’s a subtle reminder to shoppers to buy a little extra to get free shipping. This is a country based and a powerful conversion tool.
The feature shows the shopper how much additional spend is required to meet the free shipping threshold and the bar visually indicates the current progress to that total. When the free shipping threshold has been reached then the messages is changed to reflect this.
The 'Spend X More' component is displayed in the following locations in the IRP Shopper flow...
- The Basket
- The Mini Basket
- The Add to Basket modal window
- The Mobile 'Basket Review' in the Checkout flow
Enable the feature in Admin > Application Settings and control the threshold percentage at which you want to display the feature in your online store. Setup your country specific free shipping rules or free shipping promotions as part of your configuration.
Application Settings Configuration
- Enable Free Shipping Threshold Message: Enable the feature on the desktop and mobile online stores
- Free Shipping Threshold Progress Required: The threshold determines the percentage of the shopping basket when the control will be displayed. For example, when the threshold default is set to 50% then the component will display when the basket is 50% or more toward the free shipping threshold set for the country. The threshold that will be used is the lowest of either a shipping rules trigger value offering free shipping or a free shipping promotion with a lower trigger value.
Shipping Countries Configuration
- Enable Free Shipping Threshold Message: Merchants may wish to enable or disable the message component at a country level directly within the Shipping Countries.
Free Shipping Rules
Setup free shipping rules or free shippping promotion for the basket price that you want to start to offer free shipping and add to the correct zone.
